Belleville Man Leads Cops On High Speed Chase In Warren County

Police stopped the 19-year-old for speeding and he allegedly took off.

A Belleville man led police on a high-speed car chase in Warren County on July 3, allegedly almost striking an officer in an attempt to escape.

Police said that they stopped Andy Trinh, 19, for speeding around 12:34 a.m. in Washington Township.

Trinh took off during the traffic stop, kicking off a police chase that ended when he crashed on Jackson Valley Road in Mansfield Township.

Police later found heroin, marijuana and a handgun in the car.

Authorities charged Trinh with eluding police, aggravated assault on police and various drug, weapon and vehicular offenses.

He was taken to Warren County jail and held on $50,000 bail.
