BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville voters headed to the polls on Tuesday, May 8 to decide who will be the city’s next mayor and city council members. But who will emerge victorious?
According to the Essex County Clerk's Office, as of 10 p.m. on Tuesday, here are the unofficial, early results.
Mayor-Belleville (Vote For 1)

- Raymond KIMBLE – 39.32% (1,736 votes)
- Liza M. LOPEZ – 19.25% (850 votes)
- Michael A. MELHAM – 41.36% (1,826 votes)
Belleville-Council Members At Large (Vote For 2)
- Charles G. HOOD – 19.33% (1,479 votes)
- Victor G. MESCE – 12.60% (964 votes)
- Felipe REYES – 10.28% (787 votes)
- Kevin G. KENNEDY – 16.18% (1,238 votes)
- Naomy DEPENA – 20.04% (1,534 votes)
- Thomas GRAZIANO – 21.52% (1,647 votes)
