BELLEVILLE

There are four seats on Belleville's town council up for election. Terms last for four years.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 (choose one)

With all districts reported, it appears that Tracy Juanita Williams has emerged victorious over Patricia Inaugurato for a spot on the council in the First Ward.

  • Tracy Juanita Williams - 294 votes (60.25%)
  • Patricia Inaugurato - 194 votes (39.75%)

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 (choose one)

With 87.5 percent of districts reported, Frank Velez holds a lead over Victor Mesce and Gary Hinton in the Second Ward. Velez has since declared victory, citing the unofficial results.

  • Gary Hinton - 47 votes (4.85%)
  • Victor Mesce - 390 votes (40.21%)
  • Frank Velez - 533 votes (54.95%)

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 (choose one)

Vincent Cozzarelli ran unopposed, capturing a seat on the council in the Third Ward.

  • Vincent Cozzarelli - 193 votes (100%)

𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝 (choose one)

With all districts reported, it appears that Diana Sorice Guardabasco has beat out Michael Sheldon for a spot on the council in the Fourth Ward.

  • Michael Sheldon - 160 votes (34.26%)
  • Diana Sorice Guardabasco - 307 votes (65.74%)

NUTLEY

There are five seats on Nutley's board of town commissioners up for election. Terms last for four years.

With all districts reported, it appears that all of the incumbent commissioners have recaptured their seats: Thomas Evans, Joseph Scarpelli, John Kelley III, Alphonse Petracco and Mauro Tucci.

Here are the latest results, according to the county clerk's office (choose five):

  • Thomas Evans - 2,615 votes (14.08%)
  • Joseph Scarpelli - 2,986 votes (16.08%)
  • John Kelley III - 3,223 votes (17.35%)
  • Alphonse Petracco - 3,062 votes (16.49%)
  • Lorenzo Marchese - 1,311 votes (7.06%)
  • Maria Hamlin - 2,447 votes (13.18%)
  • Mauro Tucci - 2,929 votes (15.77%)
