Belleville, Nutley Dentists Will Offer Day Of Free Care To Kids: 2017 Event

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Several dental care facilities in Essex County will offer free care for children 12-years-old and under as part of the ADA Foundation’s Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) program on Friday, Feb. 3.

According to GKAS, more than five million underserved children have received free oral health services as part of the annual event over the last 13 years. The free services are provided by about 10,000 dentists and 30,000 other dental team members across the nation.

According to organizers, the following Essex County dental care facilities will offer free services to children 12 and under on Feb. 3:

• Newark: Child Smiles, 973-578-8788; Rutgers SDM, 973-972-4710
• Nutley: Smile Today, 973-667-2466
• Montclair: Hackensack UMC, Mountainside, 973-429-6887; KinderSmile Foundation, 973-744-7003
• West Orange: Creating Smiles, 973-325-3000

Services are by appointment only, and interested participants should contact the dental care facility for eligibility details beforehand, organizers stated.
