Schools in Belleville and Nutley will be closed Thursday, Jan. 4 due to a potential snow storm expected to hit the area, officials say.

BELLEVILLE, NJ -- Schools in Belleville and Nutley will be closed Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 due to a potential snow storm expected to hit the area, officials say.
A blizzard warning is now in effect in parts of New Jersey. The snow has already led to some school closures and early dismissals.

All school activities and sports will be canceled in Nutley on Jan. 4, school officials said. The Board of Education's Reorganization meeting will still take place at 6:30 p.m. at JHWMS.
