Belleville Police: Arrests Made After 22 Burglaries, Thefts
Belleville police arrested three Essex County men after 22 local burglaries and thefts were reported.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police arrested three Essex County men after 22 local burglaries and thefts took place during one night earlier this month, authorities say.
According to the Belleville Police Department, residents reported 22 burglaries and thefts in the “middle area of the township” during the overnight hours of Monday, June 12 to Tuesday, June 13.
After receiving the burglary/theft reports, Belleville officers on patrol allegedly saw three men enter an unlocked vehicle around 2:12 a.m. The officers stopped the men and recovered several of the stolen items in their possession, authorities said.

Police arrested Newark residents Christopher Ruiz, 30, Leonardo Suarez, 19, and Alexander Sarvaic, 33, and charged them with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft and two counts of conspiracy.
