Belleville Police: Watch How Quickly A Package Theft Can Happen

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Belleville police are warning local residents to take precautions this holiday season if they’re expecting a package delivery.
On Tuesday, the Belleville Police Department posted a video from an alleged package theft that took place on Stephens Street in Belleville (see below).
The BPD wrote:

“As the holidays approach please be aware of suspicious persons lurking in your neighborhoods. Delivery services often just leave packages on doorsteps unattended. Make arrangements when expecting packages for someone to be home or leave them with a neighbor. This is how quick it happens. Let’s all be alert this holiday season.”
