Belleville Proposes Upgrades At Municipal Stadium, Hearing Scheduled
The project would be paid for through a combination of township funding and New Jersey Green Acres Program funds, officials said.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — The Belleville Municipal Stadium may see some upgrades if a renovation proposal crosses the finish line.
The Township of Belleville recently announced that it is proposing improvements at the Belleville Municipal Stadium at 100 Passaic Avenue.
Township Manager Anthony Iacono said Belleville is attempting to renovate its existing municipal grandstand through the use of a combination of municipal funds and funds obtained through the seeking funding through the New Jersey Green Acres Program.

Some of the improvements currently being considered include ADA-accessible bathrooms, structural renovations to the existing grandstand, and the installation of new offices for the town’s Recreation Department.
A public hearing to discuss the proposal and get feedback will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23 as part of the regularly scheduled council meeting at Town Hall, 152 Washington Avenue.
