Belleville Readers Name Their Favorite Closed Businesses

BELLEVILLE, NJ — We asked, you spoke. And it turns out there’s a lot of nostalgia for now-closed local businesses in Belleville.

Here’s the question Patch asked on social media: “If you could bring back one local business that closed in town (it doesn't matter how long ago), which would it be?”

We got several replies. To name just a few: Kmart, Joey's Pizzeria, Milt's Photo Store, Jackie’s Lemon Ice, Main Street Taverna, Branch Brook Manor, and Zig Zag Restaurant.
