Belleville Store Sells $20K Lottery Ticket (See Lucky Numbers)

BELLEVILLE, NJ — It may not be the massive $1 billion Mega Millions ticket that everyone is buzzing about – but $20,000 isn’t anything to sneeze at, either.

Krauszer’s Food Store on Franklin Avenue in Belleville sold a lottery ticket worth a cool $20,000 for the March 26 drawing, which also included the largest jackpot winner that the state has ever seen – worth a whopping $1.13 billion.

The record-setting ticket was sold at the ShopRite on Rute 66 in Neptune, according to New Jersey Lottery officials. A 2020 New Jersey law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous indefinitely, and the identity of winners will not be included in materials available to public inspection under the state’s Open Public Records Act.

The winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing on Tuesday, March 26 were: 07, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Gold Mega Ball number was 04. The Multiplier number was 02.

The Mega Millions jackpot will reset for the next drawing to be held Friday, March 29 at 10:59 p.m.
