Belleville Taking Applications From Students For Part-Time Summer Jobs

DPW helpers and summer camp counselors are needed in Belleville. Here's how to apply.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — The Township of Belleville recently announced that it is accepting applications from Belleville high school and college students who want a part-time summer job.

According to a municipal notice:

“Applications are now being accepted for Belleville high school and college students to apply for various seasonal part-time summer jobs. Preference DPW helpers and summer camp counselors. The Summer Camp program operates from July 3 to August 18, 2023, Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicants must be 15-years-old by June 1 to be eligible to apply. Applicants hired under the age of 18 require working papers and applicants over the age of 18 will be subject to a background check. All coordinators and counselors hired must attend a mandatory orientation and training prior to the start of the summer camp programs. Time and date TBD in June 2023.”
