Belleville Traffic Detours: Mill Street Delays Expected Until Friday
The closures may affect parents picking up children at Sandy Lane Nursery School and those attempting to enter the nearby senior building.

Belleville, NJ – Belleville township authorities issued the following alert at 2:44 p.m. on Tuesday.
“Please be advised that Mill Street will be closed for construction to all vehicle traffic, from Franklin Avenue to Harrison Street from Wednesday, March 9, to Friday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.”

“Drivers may also experience roadway detours and delays in and or around the area of Mill Street. Please be advised that residents and parents picking up children at Sandy Lane Nursery School can do so by approaching the marked police unit at Mill Street and Harrison Street and advising the officer that you are going to Sandy Lane or that you are a resident. Please be advised residents attempting to access the senior building may do so by approaching the marked police unit at Mill Street, and Franklin Avenue, and advising the officer that you need to get to the senior building.”
