Belleville Will Stop Accepting Cash For Tax, Water Payments

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Need to pay your property taxes or water bills in Belleville? Starting in August, you won’t be able to use cash.

On Aug. 1, the municipal tax and water departments will no longer be accepting cash as a form of payment, a municipal notice states.

Payments can be made by check or money order, or can be done online.
