Belleville Woman Robbed While Unloading Groceries From Car: Police
A Belleville woman was standing in her Lake Street driveway when two men approached and demanded she give them her purse, police say.

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A Belleville woman reported that two men robbed her at gunpoint last week as she was in her driveway taking groceries out of her car, police say.
According to the Belleville Police Department, the woman told officers that she was in her Lake Street driveway around 6:44 p.m. when two men approached her, one of whom pointed a black handgun at her and demanded that she hand over her purse.
The victim told officers that she gave her purse – which contained ID, credit cards, keys and her iPhone - to the men, who then fled the area in an older, dark-colored minivan.

Police said that the woman described the first suspect as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches and with a thin build, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and wearing a black jacket and dark jeans.
The woman described the second suspect – who allegedly brandished the gun - as a black male about 6 feet with a thin build, wearing a black, full-faced mask.
