Boy’s Pizza Delivery To Nutley Cops Touches Hearts
A boy and his mom delivered some pizza to Nutley police and left before the officers could say thanks. A mission to find "Jax" ensued.

NUTLEY, NJ — A little pizza can go a long way, sometimes.
Recently, the Nutley Police Department got a heartwarming gift from a boy and his mother, who hand-delivered two pizzas for officers on the 4 p.m. to midnight shift.
Written on the box was the following message: “Thank you for all you do! You are my hero. Love, Jax.”

According to the NPD, the desk officer was busy at the time and didn’t get the chance to properly thank the duo for their gift. But as soon as they got a chance to catch up to speed, officers knew they had a new mission… find Jax and say “thanks.”
After putting out a message on social media, Nutley police were able to finally track him down.

The Nutley PBA Local 33 shared the following update last week:
“We are happy to report that we have found Jax! After lots of shares and over 20,000 views of our request for assistance, we were able to get in touch with his mom and we will be setting up a meet and greet to properly thank them for their kind gesture of delivering pizzas. We thank you all for the shares and because of our followers, this all came together.”
A meet-and-greet is slated for the near future, police said.
The update struck a chord with several local residents. “Great news!” one wrote. “Fantastic!” another declared.
