Brass Knuckle Punch Ends With Arrest In Nutley: Police
Nutley police charged a man with aggravated assault after he allegedly hit a Clifton resident with brass knuckles, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — Nutley police charged a man with aggravated assault after he allegedly punched a Clifton resident with brass knuckles earlier this month, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to an establishment on Franklin Avenue on March 2 after getting a report about an assault. Witnesses said that the assailant hit the victim with brass knuckles and fled the scene.
The injured man – a 28-year-old Clifton resident – was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for a facial laceration, police said.

After an investigation, police arrested Anthony DeBlasio, 26, of Nutley, and charged him with aggravated assault and possession of prohibited weapons. He was released pending a court hearing, authorities said.
