UPDATE: One Dead After Shooting Near Belleville 'Gentleman's Club'
A shooting in Belleville outside a "gentleman's club" left an Essex County man dead on Thursday.
A shooting in Belleville on Thursday morning left a Newark man dead, authorities reported.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office stated that it is investigating a fatal shooting on the 200 block of Belleville Avenue.
Authorities identified the victim as Michael Williams, 28,of Newark.

“It appears that the victim had been a patron at a gentlemen’s club prior to the shooting,” prosecutors stated in a release.
RLS Media reported that the shooting took place on the 200 block of Belleville Avenue in the vicinity of the Wet Bar.

No arrests have been made or motive established, and an investigation is ongoing, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office stated.
