Burglary, Attempted Burglary Reported In Nutley: Police
A home burglary and an attempted home burglary were reported in Nutley this week, authorities say.
NUTLEY, NJ — A home burglary and an attempted home burglary were reported in Nutley this week, authorities announced Friday.
The Nutley Police Department released the following details about each incident:
Feb. 4 (Plymouth Road) – “Officers responded on report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers observed a silver Land Rover fleeing the scene occupied by two suspects. Another suspect fled on foot was apprehended and transported to headquarters. The suspect was charged and transported to the Essex County Juvenile Correctional Facility without incident. The victim advised that the rear door to their residence looked as if it had been forced open, but nothing appeared to be missing or disturbed. Officers cleared the residence, and the Detective Bureau arrived on scene to process.”

Feb. 4 (Dogwood Lane) – “A resident reported an attempted burglary to their residence. They stated they observed two male suspects attempt to gain entry through a window and a rear door of the residence on their security camera. The Detective Bureau was advised and arrived on scene to process. The suspect was identified and charged.”
