Christmas-Themed Bar Will Return In Nutley: 2026 Holiday Events

NUTLEY, NJ — The Sugarplum Stampede. The Merry Mouse-Tail. And the ever-popular Christmapolitan. These are some of the cocktails that will be on the menu at a Christmas-themed bar in Nutley this holiday season.

Get ready to break out that ugly sweater: the Miracle pop-up bar is returning to Cowan’s Public at 229 Centre Street and several other local taverns in New Jersey.

Participating bars will be decking out their digs with kitschy, over-the-top Christmas-themed decorations.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an amusing lineup of liquor-spiked libations, including old favorites like the “Christmapolitan” (vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, lime, rosemary, absinthe mist), the “Run Run Reindeer” (mulled wine reduction, prosecco, lemon, aromatic bitters), and the Snowball Old-Fashioned (rye, gingerbread, aromatic bitters, wormwood bitters, orange essence).

Some new Christmasy concoctions will also make their debut on the menu for 2026, including the “Sugarplum Stampede” (Irish whiskey, amontillado sherry, apricot, dark crème de cacao, lemon, miso honey, figgy bitters) and the “Sleigh-Saurus” (peanut butter whiskey, dark rum, velvet falernum, French bitter, black sesame, oat milk, lemon, nutmeg).

Meanwhile, designated drivers and holiday revelers who want a non-alcoholic choice can partake of drinks like the “Ginger Bell Rock” (mandarin, clove, ginger, tonic) or the “Tinsel & Tart” (verjus rouge, cranberry, orange, lemon, Christmas spices).

This year, the popular seasonal attraction will be running from Nov. 6 to Jan. 3, 2027 at Cowan’s Public in Nutley. Learn more or make a reservation here.
