Clara Maass Hospital Gets Latest Safety Grade From Watchdog Group

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Clara Maass Medical Center in Essex County received a “B” grade as part of the latest Hospital Safety Grades report from the Leapfrog Group.
The nonprofit watchdog released its fall 2022 grades for hospitals on Wednesday. The group uses an academic grading scale with five letter grades to score nearly 3,000 hospitals nationwide on more than 30 measures of patient safety. Read more about their methodology here.
