COVID Deaths In Belleville, Nutley: Town, County Totals

BELLEVILLE, NJ — Authorities released the latest coronavirus death totals for Belleville and Nutley on Thursday.

According to Essex County officials, the town of Belleville has seen 891 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 53 deaths linked to the disease, a 5.9 percent fatality rate.

Nutley has seen 456 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 32 deaths linked to the disease, a 7 percent fatality rate.

According to the New Jersey Department of Health, there were 142,704 confirmed cases statewide with 9,946 deaths, a 6.9 percent fatality rate.
