Cursing Woman Arrested At Belleville's Clara Maass Medical Center: Police
The woman's friend was also arrested for marijuana possession, Belleville police say.

Belleville, NJ – Belleville police arrested two Bloomfield residents earlier this month after one allegedly assaulted a security officer at Clara Maass Medical Center.
According to the Belleville Police Department, the double arrest began when officers were dispatched to the hospital around 3:23 a.m. on April 11 on a report of a disturbance between a security officer and a visitor to the hospital.
A security officer told police that Zurelys Ocasio, 23, allegedly assaulted him during a dispute, authorities stated.

Ocasio then allegedly became “combative” and began cursing at the police officer in a “very loud voice,” causing a disturbance in the hospital’s emergency room, authorities stated.
The officer reportedly warned Ocasio multiple times to calm down or face arrest. When she allegedly failed to comply, police took her into custody.

Authorities later charged her with disorderly conduct.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old male friend of Ocasio allegedly requested a ride to police headquarters in order to wait for her. When police granted the request, he began to enter the patrol vehicle but was allegedly seen throwing an item to the ground.
Police recovered a small bag of marijuana and arrested the male, later charging him with possession (less than 50 grams).
Both suspects were later released on their own recognizance.
