Driver Carjacked In Nutley; Similar Crime Seen In Belleville: Police
Nutley police are working with their peers in Belleville, who reported a similar incident weeks earlier, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A fast food delivery driver was carjacked in Nutley on Wednesday night, authorities said.
The carjacking happened around 7:30 p.m. on Hilton Street, according to a statement from Nutley Police Director Alphonse Petracco and Chief Thomas Strumolo.
The victim told officers that a man and a woman threatened him and robbed him at gunpoint, taking his money, food and 2016 Acura.

Nutley detectives recovered the stolen car in East Orange, authorities said.
Strumolo said Nutley police are working with their peers in Belleville, who reported a similar incident weeks earlier. It appears to be the same suspects, he said.
