Driver Crashes After Hitting Pothole On Route 21: Nutley Police
A driver hit a pothole on Route 21 in Nutley, causing a crash that resulted in a trip to the hospital, police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A driver hit a pothole on Route 21 in Nutley last week, causing a crash that resulted in a trip to the hospital, police said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, officers responded to Rt. 21 on July 6 after getting a report about a motor vehicle accident near mile marker 8.6.
The driver told police that they struck a pot hole, causing the tire to blow out and the vehicle’s air bags to deploy.

The driver suffered a head injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation, police said.
