Driver Crashes In Nutley, Hospitalized In Critical Condition: PD
An off-duty Nutley police officer saw the man "slumped over" in his vehicle while traveling north on Prospect Street, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A 65-year-old motorist was taken to the hospital in critical condition after crashing his car into a retaining wall on Church Street in Nutley last week, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, an off-duty police officer saw the man “slumped over” in his vehicle while traveling north on Prospect Street on Wednesday, March 20.
The vehicle then crashed into a retaining wall on Church Street. Police on the scene administered CPR to the driver after pulling him from the car, authorities said.

Emergency responders transported the man to a nearby hospital in critical condition, police said.
