Driver Hits Pedestrian In Nutley Crosswalk: Police
The driver had a suspended license, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A driver hit a pedestrian with their car in a Nutley crosswalk last week, authorities said Friday.
The Nutley Police Department released the following statement about the incident, which took place on Oct. 17 at the intersection of Washington and Park avenues:
“A pedestrian reported being hit in the crosswalk by a vehicle as it was making a turn. The driver was found to have a suspended driver’s license and was issued motor vehicle summonses for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian and Suspended Driver’s License. The pedestrian stated they had minor bruising on their lower leg, but refused medical care on scene.”
