Driver Rear Ends Dump Truck On Rt. 21 In Nutley: Police

Authorities shut down a portion of the road after the crash. The juvenile driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Nutley police said.

NUTLEY, NJ — A serious crash between a car and a cement truck closed down a part of Route 21 in Nutley last week, authorities said Friday.

According to the Nutley Police Department, the collision took place on March 27, when the 17-year-old driver of a Hyundai crashed into the rear of the cement truck.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find the juvenile driver unconscious. He was transported to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
