Drone Video Captures Inspiring Tribute At Clara Maass Hospital

BELLEVILLE, NJ — A caravan of police, fire and EMS workers offered a touching show of support to health care workers at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville on Monday.
Officials said the tribute was inspired by the hard work and sacrifice of the staff at the busy hospital, who have been on the frontlines of the coronavirus crisis for nearly a month. Overall, about 700 physicians and 2,300 employees, including 700 nurses, have been treating coronavirus patients since the first entered the hospital on March 15.
On Monday afternoon – just as many workers were changing their shifts – the caravan arrived at Clara Maass, cruising around the hospital with their sirens on and lights activated. Those paying their respects included responders based in Belleville, Nutley and Bloomfield.
