The early results for the 2015 Primary Election in Essex County are in, leaving the victors to face off in November during the General Election.

Democrats (with 67 percent of votes in)

• Ralph Caputo - 2,226 votes (49 percent)
• Cleopatra Tucker - 2,287 votes (50 percent)

Republicans (with 67 percent of votes in)

• Darnel Henry - 223 votes (49 percent)
• David Pinckney - 224 votes (49 percent)

Assembly 29th District (Representing Belleville)

Democrats (with 88 percent of votes in)

• L. Grace Spencer - 2,679 votes (52 percent)
• Eliana Pintor Marin - 2,424 votes (47 percent)

Republicans (with 88 percent of votes in)

• Nicholas Campione - 268 votes (52 percent)
• Jeanette Veras - 238 votes (46 percent)
