Essex County Kids Found, Went Missing After Visit With ‘Homeless’ Father (PHOTOS)
Police say Sammy Tene, 5, and China Tene, 4, went missing after a visit with their father, who has a "history of drug addiction."

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Update: Newark police stated Wednesday that Sammy and China Tene were found safe in the Boston area. Authorities continue to search for Moso Tene. Our original article follows.
Newark police are searching for two Essex County children after they went missing following a supervised visit with their father, who is reportedly “homeless and has a history of drug addiction,” authorities say.
On Wednesday morning, the Newark Police Department issued the following missing persons alert:

“Newark [authorities] searching for two children, Sammy Tene, 5, and China Tene, 4, who are both missing following a supervised visit with their father, Moso B. Tene, 30… At approximately 7:30 p.m., police received a report of the missing children during Mr. Tene’s supervised visit at the Wilentz Justice Complex, New Jersey Family Court Building, located at 212 Washington Street. Mr. Tene, who is homeless and has a history of drug addiction, left the visit with the children at around 4 p.m… A supervising worker from the State of New Jersey CP&P had left the room during the visit. When the worker returned, the father and children were gone.”
Tene is clean-shaven and currently has bleached blonde hair, When last seen, he was wearing a white t-shirt, white sneakers and dark jeans, police said.
Sammy, a juvenile male, was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt featuring a Star Wars logo, dark jeans and light-up Spider Man sneakers. China, a juvenile female, was wearing a purple and pink hooded jacket, purple and pink tights with black hearts on the them. She is missing her two front teeth and has short black hair, police said.
