Free Rabies Immunization Clinic

 

Clinics will be held at 2 township firehouses as follows:

- Chestnut Street (fire headquarters) on Monday, 4/23 from 6-8pm

- Park Avenue (Avondale firehouse) on Monday, 4/24 from 6-8pm

Bring your dog properly leashed, and your cat in a proper carrier, to your nearest firehouse for protection against this fatal disease.  This is a three-year vaccination for dogs and cats.  A three-year vaccination was given to dogs each year at the clinics since 1974.

Dog licenses may be purchased during clinic hours after presentation of valid vaccination certificates.

The State Department of Health is encouraging the vaccination of cats to help prevent the spread of rabies.  Our department will provide free vaccinations for cats at these clinics.
