The presenters will discuss the benefits and dangers related to the Internet. This discussion will include the risks related to on-line bullying and harassment through the use of social networking websites, including Facebook and Formspring. Strategies that parents can employ to help protect their children from on-line dangers will be presented.
The presenters will also provide an overview of bullying, including bullying methods, underlying reasons for bullying, and parenting strategies to use for children who are victims of bullying and/or for children who may be exhibiting bullying behaviors.
