Crime has risen as a result of the weak economy and because of layoffs and force reductions in area police departments. The purpose of this event is to share information with residents on how they can work with local law enforcement to help keep the community safe. All are encouraged to attend and to invite others to attend as well.
Scheduled speakers include Belleville police and fire officials, members of the township council and other local officials.
