The observatory will host astronomy learning sessions on selected Tuesday evenings this summer. Sessions are “independent” and designed for interested adults or the upper level high school student. Learning sessions will include time spent in the Observatory (weather permitting).
This summer we are pleased to have Ms. Laura Venner, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador and Educator, who will be offering exciting sessions on the search for life, technology gained from the space program, 2012, and STEREO,SDO, & SOHO.
Time: 7:00-9:00 pm
Cost: $5 each, Members FREE.
Maximum Number of Participants: 15 per class, pre-registration required.
Registration: In-person or online.

The Meadowlands Environment Center is certified as a State of New Jersey Professional Development Provider PDP
ID 324. Each 2 hour class translates to 2 hours of professional development credit.
