Falling Branch Crushes Roof Of Parked School Bus In Nutley
The branch also caused damage to a pool, deck, and shed at a nearby home when it landed in their backyard, Nutley police said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A large tree branch fell and damaged a pair of parked school buses at Lincoln School in Nutley last week. The branch also damaged a nearby home, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the branch fell from a tree on school property. The roof of one bus was “crushed in.” Another vehicle’s roof had damage, but the extent couldn’t be determined at the time due to the large amount of foliage on the limb.
Authorities contacted the buildings and grounds supervisor about the damage. The area was cautioned off for safety, police said.
