Fatal Crash In Nutley: Motorcyclist Hits Pedestrian
The 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he fatally struck an off-duty taxi driver in Essex County.
A West Caldwell motorcyclist collided with an off-duty taxi driver from Bloomfield as he was walking home on Saturday, killing both men.
According to authorities, the fatal collision took place in Nutley when Joseph Binkiewicz, 27, crashed into Anthony Stella, 63, as Stella was walking home from a late shift on East Passaic Avenue near the Old Canal Inn.
Stella suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at 12:54 a.m.

Binkiewicz was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation.
