Fire Hydrant Flushing In Belleville May Cause Low Water Pressure
Fire hydrant flushing may temporarily cause discoloring or low water pressure in Belleville. Here's when and where it's scheduled.
BELLEVILLE, NJ — Regularly scheduled fire hydrant flushing may temporarily cause discoloring or low water pressure on Thursday, Dec. 15, Belleville officials say.
According to a municipal advisory, the flushing will take place – weather permitting – in the following affected areas:
- Joralemon Street to Belleville Avenue
- Franklin Avenue to the Bloomfield border
“Please be advised, you may experience some discoloring and/or low water pressure,” the advisory states.
