Fire At Nutley School Causes Serious Damage, No Injuries
The building was empty at the time, Nutley officials said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A fire at Lincoln School in Nutley caused serious damage on Monday morning, but nobody was injured in the blaze, officials say.
The district was alerted about the fire around 11 a.m. The building was empty at the time, according to a message from Superintendent Kent Bania.
The fire was on the roof and the auditorium was badly damaged, Bania said.

“The district and Nutley Fire Department are now on site to evaluate the situation,” the superintendent said. “More information will be communicated later today with the Lincoln School community directly.”
