The Nutley Health Department will be hosting several free health screenings for local residents over the next few months.
NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Health Department will be hosting several free health screenings over the next few months.
The health department recently released its 2026 screening event schedule (see below). Residents can contact the Nutley Department of Public Affairs and Health to register or for more information at 973-284-4976. Residents should call at least two weeks in advance for the April and May screenings.
February – Blood Pressure & Glucose Screenings (February 25 – 10am to 12pm)

Learn your blood pressure and glucose. No fasting is required. Registration is not required. FREE
March – Colorectal Cancer Education & EZ-Detect Kits (March 19 - 10am to 12pm)

Colorectal Cancer is the third most common cancer in both men and women. Early detection has decreased the death rate for colorectal cancers in the past 15 years. Receive FREE Colorectal Cancer Education and EZ-Detect Fecal Occult Kits. Registration not required.
April – Mental Health Screening (April 24 - 10am to 12pm)
Behavioral Health professionals will screen for signs of depression. Registration is required. FREE.
May – Stroke Screenings (May 21 - 10am to 1pm)
Evaluate your risk for stroke through cholesterol testing, blood pressure, pulse check, carotid artery assessment and stroke related counseling from staff physicians. Registration is required. FREE
June – Memory Assessment (June 25 10am to 12pm)
Are you absent-minded lately or is it something more serious? Join us for a one-on-one memory assessment to address memory loss, risks & hygiene. Registration not required. FREE
