1st Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey is proud to continue to offer a FREE center-based
playgroup to our community. In order to be eligible toddlers must be between the
ages of 18-36 months and enrolled in the NJ Early Intervention System, attend with a parent or caregiver, and meet our criteria for participation.
The purpose of the playgroup is to provide toddlers and families with
support in the areas of social, emotional, cognitive and physical
development. In addition, the playgroup is run by a speech-language
pathologist and will focus on enhancing speech and language, play and
feeding/oral motor skills with children and their families. Attendees will also have the opportunity to trial various adaptive equipment and assistive technology while participating in fun sensory experiences. The program will begin on 11/4/19 at 3:30 PM for 60 minutes. There will be a total of 8 sessions (11/4/19, 11/11/19, 11/18/19, 11/25/19, 12/2/19, 12/9/19, 12/16/19 and 1/6/20).
