'Fun Day' at School 4

Students at School 4 held Fun Day last Friday, June 10. 

In the morning, students took turns doing a range of activities: Bouncy Ball and Sack Race in the gym, hula-hoops, tag of war, jump ropes, and all kinds of different relay and ball games you could think of on the campus grounds.

"Our gym teacher, Mr. Carpenter, really did a great job thinking up all of these activities for the kids," said Aurea Arroyo, incoming Home and School Association president.

 Carpenter planned and oversaw the games for the morning session, while the  HSA supervised the afternoon's activities.

After lunch, the kids were treated to snow cones and snacks, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course and bounce castle.

The place smelled pleasantly of sunscreen, and volunteer parents were all over the place spraying the children with cool mist to keep them refreshed.
