Good Shepherd Academy - Nutley honors Volunteers

To celebrate the valuable contributions of its school volunteers, GSA hosted a Volunteer Appreciation event on May 20.

The event welcomed parents, guardians, friends and alumni volunteers who are actively involved in the school. It was also a night where volunteers got to connect, relax and be showered in appreciation.

Wine, cheese and dessert were enjoyed at the reception and were followed by a brief ceremony. Opening Prayer was led by 7th grader Isabelina Gamboa. Student Council President Alexis Brito, hosted the ceremony and Vice-President, Kayla Amelung delivered a thank you speech on behalf of the students. Chidelle Grullon, a GSA parent and volunteer and Principal, Sr. Jane Feltz, MPF honored and recognized the hard work and dedication of all volunteers.

Volunteers have supported the school in so many different ways: planning and organizing activities for the kids, chairing fundraisers, serving on a committee, and more. The entire GSA community is grateful for all they do. The members of the National Junior Honor Society members showered their appreciation by assisting with setup and cleanup. A good time was had by all!
