Justin Colon wins his third regional championship, moves into third place on state's wins list
Justin Colon won his third consecutive regional championship on Saturday at West Orange High School and also moved into third place on the state's all-time wins list with 160.
Colon earned the only pin of the championship round, using a front half-nelson to get by Clifton's Anthony DePasque in the 126 pound final. The pin came late in the second round. Colon used a pair of minor decisions in the quarters and semifinals to reach the championship bout.
The win propels Colon to the state championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City this upcoming weekend. It will be Colon's fourth trip down, and he is looking to medal for the first time in his career.

Colon will be the only Belleville wrestler competing in Atlantic City as the Bucs did not have any other grapplers place in the top three of their respective weight classes.
