Graduation, Then Party, For High Schools Seniors
Belleville and Nutley Class of 2012 Commencement ceremonies planned for early evening Thursday and Friday, then graduates will party at Project Graduation.

Even though high school students in Belleville will graduate tomorrow, Nutley students will have to wait until Friday for their ceremonies.
But, after both graduation ceremonies are a memory, the schools will provide Project Graduation celebrations that will continue late into the night.
Ceremonies begin at 7 p.m. in both towns, with graduates marching into Belleville’s Municipal Stadium and Nutley’s Park Oval, respectively.
In the event of rain, diplomas will be handed out in the school’s auditoriums.
Project Graduation is a drug- and alcohol-free event to keep graduating seniors out of trouble. Fundraisers are held throughout the school year to help offset costs of the event.
Students and parents run car washes, clothing drives, fashion shows and bake sales to raise money.
In Belleville, Project Graduation will take seniors for an overnight party to Dave & Buster's in Manhattan’s Times Square, according to school officials.
In Nutley, Project Graduation will take place the next day from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m at Power House Studios, 49 E. Midland Ave. in Paramus. While there, graduates will be entertained by a hypnotist and a drink Mock Tails from a Tiki Bar, among other fun activities, according to school officials.
