Home Burglary, Attempted Burglary In Nutley On Same Day: Police
A home burglary and an attempted burglary were reported on the same day in Nutley, authorities said.
NUTLEY, NJ — A home burglary and an attempted burglary were reported on the same day in Nutley last week, authorities announced Friday.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the following incidents were reported on Dec. 4:
Attempted Burglary (Whitford Avenue) – A resident contacted police to report an attempted burglary. The resident told officers that three suspects in dark-colored clothing and face masks tried to enter their home through the rear door. The suspects didn’t managed to get inside, and fled the scene in a white vehicle, police said.

Burglary (Grant Avenue) – A resident contacted police to report a burglary. The victim said the suspects entered their home through the back door. A purse was stolen, police said.
