BELLEVILLE, NJ — Fire hydrant flushing may cause low pressure or discolored water for some Belleville residents this week.
According to a municipal advisory, the township will be flushing hydrants from Monday, July 21 through Friday, Aug. 1 from Mill Street to Joralemon Street and Washington Avenue to Main Street.
“During this time, you may experience low water pressure or discolored water,” the town’s advisory states. “Thank you in advance for your patience.”
