Italian Heritage Parade Returning To Belleville-Nutley For 2024

An annual "Columbus Day and Italian Heritage Month" parade will return to the Belleville-Nutley area on Oct. 13.

BELLEVILLE-NUTLEY, NJ — An annual “Columbus Day and Italian Heritage Month” parade will return to the Belleville-Nutley area on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The 42nd annual parade will kick off at Belleville High School at 1:30 p.m. The parade route will travel along Joralemon Street, turn at Franklin Avenue and continue to the Nutley Park Oval.

According to a news release from Nutley Township, the 2024 honorees include Grand Marshal: Marialena Marzullo; Dr. Anthony M. Pastena, Italian heritage honoree; Eugenio Siciliano, Lifetime achievement honoree; Deanna Gencarelli, Italian business leader; Danielle Ferrara Manganello, Nutley Woman of the Year; Patricia A. Vangieri, the Rev. Joseph Ferraro, Nutley Man of the Year; Belleville Woman of the Year; Dr. Frank A. Arena, Belleville Man of the Year; Danielle Gherardi, Renaissance Woman and Cavaliere Louis Nicastro, Renaissance Man and Peter and Maggie Millar, Community Excellence honorees.
