Leaf Bag Giveaway In Nutley: Households Eligible For 10 Bags (How To Get Them)

NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley Public Works Department will host a Leaf Bag Distribution Day for local residents on Saturday, Oct. 3. Each Nutley household is eligible to receive 10 biodegradable leaf bags at no cost.

The giveaway event will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Public Works Garage, 1 Cortland Street.

Residents unable to attend on Oct. 3 can pick up leaf bags at the Public Works Garage weekdays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., starting on Monday, Oct. 5. Residents should bring proper identification for bag pickup.

This year’s leaf bag giveaway will be held in conjunction with a food drive benefiting the Nutley Family Service Bureau’s food pantry. Residents are encouraged to support neighbors in need by donating non-perishable food items such as canned goods, cereal, peanut butter, pasta and rice while collecting their free leaf bags.
