Man Killed, Child Wounded In N.J. Easter Shooting In Jersey City

A man was killed and a 10-year-old child was wounded in an Easter night shooting in New Jersey, police said.

The man, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene and the child was undergoing surgery at the Jersey City Medical Center, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.

The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said the incident happened at Ocean and Van Nostrand avenues in Jersey City. The child is believed to be 10 years old.
