Man Surrenders To Nutley Cops After 110 MPH Car Chase: PD
A Garfield man surrendered himself to Nutley police after he allegedly led officers on a high-speed car chase that reached 110 mph.

NUTLEY, NJ — A Garfield man surrendered himself to Nutley police after he allegedly led officers on a high-speed car chase that reached 110 mph, authorities said.
According to the Nutley Police Department, the chase took place on March 26 on Rt. 21 south.
Police tried to stop the driver prior to the car chase, which hit top speeds upwards of 110 mph. The officers eventually terminated the pursuit, but were able to take down the car’s license plate number, authorities said.

The driver of the vehicle – Moses Grant, 25, of Garfield – later turned himself in at Nutley Police Headquarters. He was arrested and charged with eluding, as well as motor vehicle summonses for racing on a highway, reckless driving, unsafe lane change and following too closely, authorities stated.
Police advised Grant of his court date and released him without incident, authorities said.
